BMW Motorrad coding and individual control unit configuration at PKB Performance. We adapt your motorcycle's electronic functions to your requirements and modifications. The service covers technically supported control units throughout the motorcycle, not just the engine ECU.

Vehicle functions tailored to your BMW motorcycle

• Coding and configuration of the engine ECU, instrument cluster, speedometer or TFT display, and other fitted control units, subject to a technical assessment.
• Adjustment of display, menu and convenience functions, as well as supported retrofits.
• Model-dependent feature activation, such as sport displays, lap timer functions or an alternative TFT startup screen.
• Adjustment of the vehicle configuration and associated messages to suit professionally completed hardware modifications.

DDC / ESA when upgrading your suspension

Are you switching to aftermarket suspension without electronic control, such as a suitable Öhlins or TracTive solution? We assess the required deactivation or coding-out of the factory DDC/ESA function and the corresponding configuration of the control units and displays involved. The work depends on the model, equipment and components fitted. The new suspension must be mechanically sound and technically suitable.

This service is intended for BMW motorcycles across the model range. Inclusion in the vehicle search helps you find the service for your model; it does not mean that every function is available on every BMW. Older models, different control units and software versions in particular require individual assessment. Coding alone cannot add missing hardware or functions that the control units do not support.

1. Provide your model, model year, vehicle identification number, equipment and requested changes or modifications.
2. We assess technical feasibility, the control units required and the specific scope of work before proceeding.
3. We agree an appointment and the next steps with you. Depending on the work, the complete motorcycle may be required.

Important: Safety-related functions are not deactivated as a matter of course. Some modifications are suitable only for appropriately prepared motorsport vehicles. Suitability and requirements for the intended use must be clarified before work is carried out.
